Color souvenir invitation/broadside commemorating the 1926 buffalo hunt on Antelope Island, Great Salt Lake, Utah, promoted as the final wild buffalo hunt in the United States. Framed in molded wood-style frame with decorative corner motifs. Text is printed in red and black on within white buffalo pelt-shaped outline against against a printed wood grain background; includes gold seal and ribbon and full colot vignettes of Native American imagery and historical scenes. The invitation is personalized in red ink to "Kay Hammond." Facsimile signature of event organizer G, Seymour at lower right.

Framed and backed in cardboard with an informational clipping affixed verso.

  • Dimensions: 19 1/2 x 12 1/2 in. (49.5 x 31.8 cm.), Frame: 21 1/2 x 15 in. (54.6 x 38.1 cm.)
  • Condition: Scattered foxing, light surface wearing and modest soiling commensurate with age. Frame exhibits scattered surface wear, losses and edge chipping. Not examined out of frame.
